opportunities for individuals.
We have various opportunities for individual volunteers on the build site, on committees, at special events, at our ReStore and much more. Please see below for more information on how to get involved as an individual.
Our build sites are open to volunteers Wednesday-Saturday. No special skills are required. Construction volunteers must be 16 years of age to be present on an active build site. Volunteers ages 16 and 17 years old must be accompanied by an adult, 21 or older.
Younger generations have always inspired the rest of us to better our world. That kind of idealism can be infectious, and when paired with tangible service, real change can occur. Our Youth Programs are the intersection of aspiration and action.
From customer service to furniture repair, our ReStore offers volunteer opportunities geared toward individual interests and skills. By giving your time, you can help the Paterson Habitat ReStore do more to support local building projects for those in our community.
Our weekday crews consist of volunteers who are dedicated to helping our construction staff stay on schedule. Whether you are an expert or novice, our Weekday Crews are a great place to begin learning the Habitat construction process and develop specialized skills.
