What is Hammering 4 Habitat: 

During your scheduled building time slot your team will build a wall for a future Habitat house for a family in need of a decent place to call home.  Your team's fundraising efforts will go towards the material needed to complete the future home.

Hammering 4 Habitat Activities:

Food trucks | Kids crafts | Face painting & tattoos | Tours of the Great Fall National Historic Park

 before Hammering 4 habitat:

  • Register by contacting Ashley at 973-595-6868 x107, h4h@patersonhabitat.org

  • Assemble a team to help fundraise & build a wall at H4H

  • Raise a minimum contribution:

    • Couples & Individuals
      $40 per 2x4

    • Families - 5 members or less
      $100 per 2x4

    • Faith organizations, schools & companies:
      $250 per 2x4

  • Visit your local home improvement store to purchase a 8ft. pre-cut Douglas Fir#2.

  • Decorate your 2x4(s) with well wishes for the future Habitat homeowner families.

day of hammering 4 habitat:

  • Bring your decorated 2x4(s) with your contribution at your designated time slot to the Paterson Museum on Saturday, November 3, 2018

  • All teams will build a wall that will become part of a Paterson Habitat home.

  • Enjoy fun activities, food and refreshments, historical district tours and much more
