At the completion of construction of each Paterson Habitat house we celebrate the moment of handing over the keys of a new home to an excited family at a Dedication Ceremony.
The ceremony is very moving event as we celebrate the hard work and determination of deserving families who are realizing the dream of homeownership.
Our House Dedications also give us a chance to thank the many people who came together to make the construction of each new home a success. Donors, volunteers, board members, committee members, staff and our local community all work together to help carry out the mission of Habitat for Humanity.

A day of grassroots action to advocate for universal decent housing.
World Habitat Day is the one day set aside annually to recognize the basic right of all humanity to adequate shelter, and to encourage grassroots action toward ending poverty housing. The United Nations General Assembly declared in 1985 that the first Monday in October would be World Habitat Day.
