The Construction Coordinator Assistant is an entry level professional position geared to give participants relevant experience as a site project manager. The participant will primarily learn the process of facilitate PHFH’s construction schedule and material logistical on site in order to aid in the planning of volunteer capacity. In addition the participant will manage the beautification of select vacant lots of PHFH’s existing inventory. Key to this role or any PHFH site management role is an understanding of the effective utilization of volunteer labor. Read more.

The Project Assistant is a mid-to-entry level professional position geared toward the introduction to and/or continued growth in the field of project management. The Project Assistant will assist in providing the services associated with Paterson Habitat’s for Humanity Home Warranty Program and in Home Inspection coordination to expedite the delivery of housing to future Home Owners, under the guidance of the Paterson Habitat for Humanity Volunteer Engagement Coordinator and construction staff.  Read more.

The Neighborhood Development Project Assistant will build upon neighborhood programs by fostering relationships, shaping and supporting programs that engage homeowners, volunteers and community members to help achieve neighborhood program objectives, under the guidance of the Paterson Habitat for Humanity Executive Director and Volunteer Engagement Coordinator.  The Neighborhood Development Project Assistant will use such tools as: NeighborWorks surveys, GIS tools and community data analysis to document and measure program results.
