The Construction Coordinator Assistant is an entry level professional position geared to give participants relevant experience as a site project manager. The participant will primarily learn the process of facilitate PHFH’s construction schedule and material logistical on site in order to aid in the planning of volunteer capacity. In addition, the participant will manage the beautification of select vacant lots of PHFH’s existing inventory. Key to this role or any PHFH site management role is an understanding of the effective utilization of volunteer labor.

This is a full-time AmeriCorps Service opportunity ending one year from start of contract date. This service opportunity provides hands on experience, along with a living stipend for the year and an education award upon completion of the program. Read full description here.

This individual supports all departmental functions and committee activities related to homeowner services, mortgage origination and family partnering.  He/she leads the process of certifying income qualification and related compliance for grants; coordinates the homeowner application process; ensures the accuracy, completeness and confidentiality of data entry/record-keeping/files/reports; prepares materials for and delivers training workshops, orientations and applicant outreach/affirmative marketing events; and will be required to become certified and maintain certification (annually) as a Qualified Loan Originator (QLO). Paterson Habitat for Humanity is looking to fill a part-time position (up to 24 hours per week).
