PUBLIC NOTICE
AND PUBLIC REVIEW PERIOD FOR THE
PATERSON EPA GRANT APPLICATION

CITY OF PATERSON, NJ

In accordance with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s instructions this notice is to inform the community regarding the City’s intension to apply for an EPA Brownfields grant to clean up several sites in the City.  The City of Paterson has prepared a draft application for this grant which is available for public review and comments.  

The City of Paterson will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, November 23, 2011 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM to solicit citizen comments on the draft proposal. The hearing will be held in the Department of Community Development, 125 Ellison Street, 2nd Floor, Paterson, NJ 07505.  To facilitate participation by persons with special needs, please contact (973) 321-1212 to make arrangements.

Comments
The City of Paterson intends to submit the EPA grant application to the U.S. Environment Protection Agency on or before November 28, 2011.   Interested persons are encouraged to view the proposal and submit comments to the Department of Community Development, 125 Ellison Street, Paterson, NJ 07505-1310.  All comments received by 4:00 p.m. on November 27, 2011 will be considered.
