Women Build, underwritten by Lowe's puts the tools into women's hands to fight poverty housing.  Not only does a Women Build enable women to discover for themselves that they can build Habitat for Humanity homes, but each Women Build also benefits your community by growing your affiliate through networking, fund-raising opportunities, an expanded volunteer database and new leadership.

About the partnership

Lowe's a Fortune 50 company with more than 60 years in the business of home improvement, is the underwriter of the Women Build program.  Women Build houses are being built throughout the nation with Lowe's support.  Lowe's is also expanding much-needed training opportunities for women by offering "How-To" clinics at Lowe's stores.  Women volunteers and women homeowners can participate in skills workshops, gaining hands-on experience in basic construction techniques.

Women Build challenges women to actively address the problem of substandard housing and to be part of the solution.
