Corporate Challenge 2010
 

Once for the past 16 years Paterson Habitat for Humanity holds a two/three-week event where corporations from all over the tri-state area come to our work sites to build.  This is the only time of the year that Habitat raises funds from construction volunteers.

Last year over 24 companies sent more than 524 of their employees and accepted the corporate challenge - and raised $178,500.

Corporate Challenge is based on a simple concept.  Teams of employees work half day shifts during the two/three-week fundraiser.  At lunch (provided by Habitat), volunteers, incoming homeowners and Habitat staff share their stories.  This has proven to be a wonderful team building experience for participating businesses.  Every year Corporate Challenge is oversubscribed.  100% of funds raised by the event go toward a Habitat home.
