Corporate Challenge

What is Corporate Challenge?

In an annual tradition that goes back 14 years, Paterson Habitat holds a 2-week event where corporations from all over the tri-state area come to our worksites to build. Last year over 30 companies sent more than 400 of their employees and accepted the Corporate Challenge.

Corporate Challenge is based on a simple concept. Teams of employees work at the construction site on a specific day for a 4-hour shift. During the lunch provided by Habitat, volunteers, incoming families and Habitat staff share their experiences. This has proven to be a wonderful team building experience for participating businesses.  100% of funds raised by this event go toward building a Habitat house.

Benefits of Participation:

  • Recognition on Paterson Habitat’s website and Annual Report

  • Your company’s logo at the site of the house it helped build

  • A great teambuilding experience for your employees

  • The satisfaction of knowing that a small amount of your time and resources will change a family’s life forever

Can’t join us at the construction site?

Then, consider taking part in Additional Sponsorship Opportunities...

Paterson Habitat taps into the strength of its corporate partners to address one of the toughest problems of our time, the lack of affordable housing for hard working, lower income families. We operate as a partnership with families to build their homes away. This spirit inspires many businesses to become involved in the process of building simple, affordable homes for families in need in partnership with Paterson Habitat for Humanity and side by side with the families. Once of the greatest rewards of partnering with Paterson Habitat comes from the tangible results at the end of a Habitat Build Day.
