Day 9 of Corporate Challenge:  The cool and overcast weather made for a perfect Build Day.  An hour into the morning shift, Randal, a first timer, decided that he wanted to go back to the office.  “Work was never this hard…”  Sandy had to remove some of the nails that she had hammered in.  The NYCE guys were ribbing her about how long it took her to take them out…  Mike Malone, a seasoned veteran of Corporate Challenge congratulated us on the press coverage last week and our 200th house.  Mike was around when our 100th house was dedicated.  He asked if we could have a big party for the 200th like we had on the occasion of the 100th house!  At the end of the day, the NYCE team appeared to have enjoyed their experience and made progress on the house on Ellison Street.  Their only regret was that Giovanni’s brand new tool belt didn’t even look warn… - Dot Belsky Resource Dev. Manager

The fifth and last ADP team to attend Corporate Challenge 2007 came today. Of the almost 500 volunteer builders signed up for CC 2007, 123 came from ADP. Paterson Habitat in grateful recognition of Phil Dzialo, who coordinates the ADP participation, presented him with an acrylic house which states "I Helped Build It!"
